The Legacy of DIY

The Legacy of DIY

I am aiming to get this place to be more “high end” on the interior–but when a lot of methods are DIY–the designs are getting snagged by however long it takes for me to research something that satisfies the following:

1. Awesome 2. Useful 3. Easy to clean 4. In harmony with the overall NEW design scheme

And there are other priorities. I’d like the elements to tell a story–and to have intrinsic significance. #WIP

After watching videos on HUDs integrated into bathroom mirrors, more ideas emerged. I’ll have to load some sketches soon.

Oh, and I definitely need to make a secret HQ for the Quiz Kitties outside with wilderness cams.

Ultimately, I would like DIY to be part of the identity of the Quiz Cottage. Granted, I am certainly not insane. There are repairs and upgrades that require licensed tradesmen, such as electricians, HVAC techs, and plumbers. I’ve already hired them for necessities, such as heating cables for the roof/gutters. I also will need tradespeople to do the parking spot for a truck + boat. Concrete sets too fast, and I’m far too newb to handle that, lest I devise something impossibly clever. There are a few too many things for me to figure through right now. I would like to focus on landscaping. I don’t know how the patrons feel about that, but the landscaping is begging for love.
