Roof Repair Hypothetical

Apparently there are a couple leaks in the garage, which are minor; however, it would cost less to correct them now than to defer. Thus, I have some roofing vendors swinging by today. Here is my hypothetical solution. It’s interesting, but I want to re-roof in metal in a couple years, so I am trying to figure something lasting/judicious–or something along those lines.
