Exterior Paint – That Blue Color

BB Paint named my custom color “Midnight blue”–although I wanted to call it “Ninja Blue,” since it was inspired by Japanese Indigo, although it is admittedly a bit off-target on account of greenish undertones. Perhaps next time I’ll get it right and call it “Shinobi” or something.

The previous color was some sorta powder gray. The paint was just beginning to peel and flake off the siding when I purchased the house. I contacted several local painters and acquired the most exorbitant quotes for repainting a single-story, 1088sqft residence. I will revisit the story of that ordeal later.

After watching several hours of YouTube videos with the Idaho Painter and many trials and tribulations…this transformation occurred:

And yes, I also had to accomplish that while working full time–and with injuries sustained after falling off a ladder which happened back in October while I was handling minor roof repairs + gopher hole covered in pine needles. My hand is still achy, but better. It shall be a while before I can play classical guitar.
